Great weekend of games to kick start the summer season!
GREAT WEEKEND AT THE CROSSOVER CHALLENGE (EBSA event) TO KICK START THE SUMMER SEASON
We couldn't have asked for a better way to start the summer competition. All 5 SLAM CAMP Summer Teams played their first games this past weekend in front of family and friends. The Slam Camp coaches have traditionally used the month of May as an evaluation period for their different summer teams, and this year wasn't any different.
The teams' play improved as the tournament progressed; those were the first competitive games since the start of team practices just over 3 weekends ago. “I told the girls it’s not how you start the summer season it’s how you finish it, so next stop for us is our very own SLAM CAMP Summer Challenge, end of June”, Georges Germanos told the the two 16U teams after their incredible Final games on Sunday afternoon.
Another promising summer season for SLAM CAMP it seems! next stop: June 30 - July 01, Canada's #1 Girls' Basketball Summer Exposure Event - SLAM CAMP Summer Challenge!
