Let's get back to WORK!
On June 4, Minister Isabelle Charest announced a new phase in the resumption of outdoor sports, recreation and leisure activities. As of Monday June 8, team sports were able to resume in the form of supervised outdoor training if they comply with the directives of the “Direction générale de la santé publique”.
SLAM CAMP welcomed this wonderful news and automatically started working on restructuring our summer program by offering supervised outdoor individual skills training sessions to boys and girls aged 9 to 16!
SLAM CAMP will comply with all Government and Public Health recommendations as well as Basketball Quebec’s directives (see “plan de relance du Basketball en temps de pandémie”) to ensure a safe and fun learning & training environment for all its participants, players and coaches alike.
Participants will be divided according to age and will be assigned to different outdoor courts depending on the total number of registrations.
Every week, SLAM CAMP will update its list of outdoor courts, starting with Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville (session #1, Jun 29), then Longueuil (session #2, Jul 6) followed by Saint-Hubert, Saint-Lambert and Boucherville (in no particular order).
Outdoor workouts will carry on up until the Government and Public Health authorize the return to indoor practices.
SLAM CAMP will continue to update its site and social media platforms on a weekly basis to keep its young athletes and parents well-informed and in tune with all major developments.
